What happens when you turn biblical passage into a Christian Hip-Hop Music Video? You get a viral hit with hundreds of thousands of people connecting to God's word. Corey Paul's "Creation" was such an awesome collaborative effort, which in turn launched the "Rap the Bible" project and a spotlight on the Official Bible app. I've had the honor of directing, editing, and shooting this Music Video and more. And honestly, you can read the YouTube title for yourself: It indeed SLAPS!

"CHRIST THE LORD IS WITH ME" (Choreography Video)

A more earnest and intimate collaboration with dancer Ginger Arrieta and her Husband Hernan. After the unfortunate passing of their unborn child, Verana Simone Arrieta, Ginger decided to turn her story of grieving and faith and express it through dance. After creating the choreography, Ginger decided that this was a story she wanted to share with everyone and thought it would be told best through cinematics. Directing this was a delicate process, but I was truly honored and humbled to be apart of this project alongside Ginger, Hernan, and the rest of the film crew.

"FIX IT IN POST" (Best editing-Houston Christian University Film Festival 2022)

Mix the personal hell that all editors go through when they hear the words "We'll fix it in post" from a director with a love story of two filmmakers on set, and you get this over-the-top music video with exploding cameras, keyboard warriors, and majestic eagles. It was such an honor to direct and co-edit this project. And yes, we won best editing for a music video about the post-production process. Tell us we don't know our audience.
